“As the first Latina to serve MPUSD, I will continue to advocate for strong equitable public schools that are safe and allow opportunities for every student and their family to thrive on the peninsula. My service will act for enriched campus development, prevailing staff/faculty growth, increased mental and physical health through nutrition services and physical education, increased counseling services, and uplifting our low income and disadvantaged students. These outcomes will shape our district to lead a trailblazing example for all public schools.”

Veronica carries her values everywhere she goes and in her role as school board trustee.
"With every word we utter, with every action we take, we know our kids are watching us. We as parents are their most important role models."
Veronica is a former soccer coach for Monterey High, Marina Youth Soccer, and Santa Catalina. She believes in the promise of the future will be lifted by our youth.
